Redrawing the Landscape

Explorations at the intersection of traditional process, new media and digital tools.
Progressive abstraction. Process-led psychogeographic redrawing of familiar landscapes using traditional and digital media
3. | TWO TREE LINES
This stage of enquiry is as much concerned with a metaphysical notion of “place” and what that means, by taking 2 physical features of a known landscape (in this case, two tree lines) and replanting/supplanting them to the opposite locations. In this case, two Devon tree lines - one from Dartmoor and one from the coast - were used.

It should be noted that there is also an aspect of pushing a particular process to a visual limit here, and appropriating the circular “lens” signifier from other bodies of work.
