Selected series’ of works exploring the internal and external landscapes humans inhabit. Many of these works have been exhibited extensively in the places they were made; making a profound connection between people and place.
Taper’s work with place making and psychogeographies has been recognised with an Arts Council Award from the Culture Recovery Fund as well as two permanent, public realm commissions in her native South Devon.

In 2023 Taper was invited to recreate her work “Renamed City” for the exhibition “Found Cities, Lost Objects: Women in the City” curated by Turner Prize-winner and cultural activist Lubaina Himid CBE, during its tenure at the Royal West of England Academy. The exhibition - all women artists - included works by invited Bristol-based artists alongside works from the Arts Council Collection.
